My Mum, All those things a mum should be, my mum was the bestest and I know I’m biased but she was everything a mum should be and more. She was loving, caring, selfless, generous, funny, honest, a good listener, organised and sometimes a bit of a worrier. I have always been very protective over her, I guess you could call me a mummy’s girl through and through. There was or should i say still is this unbreakable bond between us. I am lucky to call her not only my mum but my best friend. I shall miss all our lengthy chats via phone or in person., our daily text messages, numerous phone calls throughout the day. Ringing you to ask what temperature to wash my clothes at and to know how to make a cheese sauce from scratch. My day to day goings with never be the same. Through you mum i have learnt what is right from wrong, good and bad, how to manage money – well sort of, and to have acquired a taste for Red wine and to remember that wine is strong :) How to have fun and enjoy life to the full, don’t take things for granted. To put your family first and to cherish the friends you make along the way. Thank you Mum... I’m so proud of you for being so strong and brave this year. I only wish your bravery could have been duly rewarded. You were a fighter to the end. I only hope to have the same approach to my life now and to do all the things you wished for me. I love you with all my heart, sleep tight mummy, Love Emma xxx
